Oswal Pumps bags Rs 1.62 billion order from MSEDCL 

Oswal Pumps Limited has received an order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) under the PM Kusum B Scheme Magel Tyala Saur Krishi Pump Yojna. The order is for the supply and installation of over 6,800 off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems. The total order value is Rs 1.62 billion.

Furthermore, according to the order specifications, the scope of work includes the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar water pumping systems in 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP capacities. These systems will be installed at identified farmers’ locations across Maharashtra. The project is expected to benefit over 6,800 farming households in the state. It will help reduce dependence on grid electricity and diesel-based irrigation.

Earlier, in March 2026, Oswal Solar Energy Private Limited, a subsidiary of Oswal Pumps Limited, secured an order from Swashakthi Energy to install 7.46 MWp of grid-connected rooftop solar
