Solex Energy Limited has signed an MoU with the Government of Gujarat to set up a renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem in the state. The project involves a proposed investment of around Rs 40 billion.
Under the agreement, the company will establish a 5 GW solar cell manufacturing facility. This will be developed in two phases, with 2 GW in Phase I and 3 GW in Phase II. In addition, Solex Energy will establish a 10 GW battery energy storage manufacturing facility.
Earlier, in May 2025, Solex Energy Limited announced that they have secured a solar module supply order worth Rs 4.514 billion from KPI Green Energy Limited. The order involved the delivery of 310 MW of N-Type TOPCon 615Wp glass-to-glass solar photovoltaic modules.
