NTPC Limited has commenced commercial operations of 100 MW capacity of a 176 MW solar project at Ramagundam in Telangana. With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Group has increased to 89,805 MW.
In April 2026, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) commenced commercial operations of the seventh part capacity of 90 MW out of the 1,200 MW Khavda-II solar project in Gujarat.
In April 2026, NGEL announced the commercial operations of 150 MW capacity from a 300 MW solar project located in Rajasthan. The solar capacity was developed by Project Sixteen Renewable Power Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary of the joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited.
