Lhyfe has partnered with BMW Group to supply green hydrogen to BMW’s Steyr facility in Austria. BMW’s third-generation hydrogen propulsion system for the future BMW X5 will be produced in Steyr from 2028. The green hydrogen will support series development, industrialisation, testing, and validation activities at the site.
In January 2026, Lhyfe and Hyliko signed a new multi-year renewable hydrogen supply agreement. The agreement extends their existing partnership and includes supply for Hyliko’s second hydrogen refuelling station in Tremblay-en-France. The new station is expected to come on stream in 2027. Under the agreement, Lhyfe will deliver more than 200 tonnes of RFNBO-certified hydrogen to Hyliko’s two stations.
In October 2025, Lhyfe inaugurated 10 MW commercial hydrogen production facility, located in Germany. The facility can produce up to 4 tonnes of renewable hydrogen per day for heavy mobility and industrial decarbonisation. Lhyfe has also signed power purchase agreements with German renewable producers, including EDPR. The project received funding from Baden-Württemberg and the EU and obtained the RFNBO certification in September 2025.
