Adani Green Energy announces financial results for FY 2025-26

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced the results for the financial year (FY) 2025-26, ending March 31, 2026. The company’s revenue from power supply stood at Rs 116.02 billion in FY 2025-26, registering a 22 per cent increase year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 94.95 billion reported in FY 2024-25. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) increased to Rs 108.65 billion, showing a 23 per cent YoY increase from Rs 88.18 billion in FY 2024-25. EBITDA margins stood at 91 per cent. Cash profit reached Rs 53.99 billion, an 11 per cent YoY increase from Rs 48.71 billion in FY 2024-25. Moreover, energy sales increased by 34 per cent to 37,567 million units, supported by capacity additions and strong plant performance, including a greenfield capacity addition of 5.1 GW during the FY.

In the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY 2025-26, the company reported Rs 30.94 billion as revenue from power supply, reflecting a 16 per cent YoY rise from Rs 26.66 billion reported in the Q4 of FY 2024-25. Additionally, EBITDA stood at Rs 29.44 billion, showing a 20 per cent YoY increase from Rs 24.53 billion in FY 2024-25, while maintaining a margin of 91 per cent. Cash profit for the Q4 FY 2025-26 stood at Rs 14.94 billion, showing a 21 per cent increase from Rs 12.31 billion reported in Q4 FY 2024-25.

Earlier in April 2026, Adani Green Energy Limited expanded its renewable energy capacity when its subsidiary commissioned a 292 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat, which started generating electricity on April 23, 2026, after receiving the necessary approvals. With this addition, the company’s total operational renewable energy capacity increased to 19,585.8 MW, and its battery energy storage system capacity reached 1,376 MWh, further strengthening its position in India’s clean energy sector.
