Websol Energy announces financial results for FY 2025-26

Websol Energy System Limited has announced financial results for the fourth quarter of financial year 2025-26 (Q4 FY 2025-26), ending March 31, 2026. The company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of about Rs 1.25 billion from nearly Rs 0.48 billion in the Q4 FY 2024-25, reflecting a 157.9 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase. Revenue for Q4 FY 2025-26 reached approximately Rs 4.01 billion, up 132.1 per cent from around Rs 1.73 billion of the last quarter, while the earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA)  margin stood at 36.4 per cent. 

For the entire FY 2025-26, the company recorded a PAT of about Rs 3.03 billion, a 95.8 per cent YoY increase from nearly Rs 1.55 billion in FY 2024-25. The annual revenue increased to approximately Rs 10.49 billion from about Rs 5.75 billion, marking a YoY increase of 82.4 per cent. The EBITDA margin for FY 2025-26 stood at 40.8 per cent. The company also reported a net cash surplus position with total debt of about Rs 1.18 billion, cash and cash equivalents of approximately Rs 1.52 billion, and net cash of around Rs 0.34 billion. Additionally, it maintained an order book of nearly Rs 11.61 billion as of March 31, 2026.

In February 2026, Websol Energy System Limited secured three purchase orders for solar modules with a combined capacity of 85.5 MW, valued at approximately Rs 1.72 billion, with deliveries scheduled by May 2026.
