TrueRE Oriana Power Limited has acquired 9,324,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each in its subsidiary, Truere Guj SPV Private Limited. The transaction was completed for a total consideration of Rs 120,168,600 in line with the terms of the rights issue.
This investment aims to support the development of a battery energy storage system (BESS) as part of the solar power plant being undertaken by Truere Guj SPV Private Limited. The BESS is proposed to enable efficient energy management through the storage of surplus power. TrueRE Oriana Power’s share in its subsidiary before the rights issue was 74 per cent and remains unchanged post the rights issue.
Earlier in March 2026, TrueRE Oriana Power Limited secured three fixed-price engineering, procurement, and construction contract orders for the development of ground-mounted solar projects with a total capacity of 32 MW, along with battery energy storage systems of 20 MWh.
