NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL) has floated a tender inviting bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 20 MW floating solar photovoltaic (PV) project. The project is located at Maroda Reservoir-2, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
As per the tender guidelines, the scope of work includes the detailed design of a grid-interactive solar PV plant, covering civil, electrical, and mechanical auxiliary systems. This involves the preparation of foundation drawings, single-line diagrams, installation drawings, electrical layouts, and necessary design calculations. The scope further extends to the development of a floating solar PV plant, along with the associated power evacuation system, including the supply and installation of PV modules within the designated area.
Additionally, the selected bidder will be responsible for providing operations and maintenance services for a period of three years. The bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 20,000,000. Furthermore, the bid submission deadline is May 18, 2026.
