Nel Hydrogen US has received a $7 million purchase order from Mesure Process to supply containerised PEM electrolyser equipment for European hydrogen projects. The units will produce 100 per cent renewable hydrogen to support both high-demand hydrogen refueling stations for mobility and industrial export applications. The project, managed by Synqo Energies as the EPC supplier, is expected to commence operation in 2027.
In November 2025, Nel Hydrogen US secured a firm order from Kaupanes Hydrogen AS and HyFuel AS in Norway. Both projects are being developed by Hydrogen Solutions AS in close coordination with their respective co-owners. Each project has a capacity of 20 MW and will deploy Nel’s MC 500 containerised PEM systems, bringing the combined capacity to 40 MW. The total contract value exceeds $50 million.
In October 2025, Nel Hydrogen US secured an order for a 2.5 MW MC500 PEM electrolyser from H2 Energy. The system will be deployed at the Association for Waste Disposal in Buchs, Switzerland. H2 Energy will deliver a turnkey hydrogen production and refueling facility for the project. The plant will use locally generated electricity to produce hydrogen for VfA’s waste collection trucks, for industrial use and for distribution within the hydrogen ecosystem.
