Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited has received an order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the deployment of 3,540 solar water pumping systems across Maharashtra. The total value of the order stands at approximately Rs 717.5 million, excluding GST.
The scope of work includes the design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of off-grid DC solar water pumping systems. Additionally, the agreement covers complete system warranty, along with repair and maintenance services and a remote monitoring system.
The installations are being carried out under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan Component-B, as well as MSEDCL’s solar pump initiative Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana, across multiple locations in the state. Moreover, the project is required to be executed within 60 days from the issuance of the notice to proceed or work order.
