Jakson Green Limited has inked an 85,000 metric tonnes per annum green ammonia purchase agreement (GAPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for the supply of green ammonia under the SIGHT programme – component II: Incentive for Procurement of Green Ammonia Production (under Mode-2A) of the National Green Hydrogen Mission. The agreement will facilitate the supply of green ammonia to Coromandel International Limited at its Kakinada facility in Andhra Pradesh.
Furthermore, the estimated contract value is around $465 million over the contract period. Green ammonia supply is expected to commence in 2029 as per the current project timeline. This follows the letter of award received by Jakson Green Limited and its consortium from SECI in August 2025.
Earlier in November 2025, Jakson Group unveiled phase 1 of its 6 GW integrated solar ingot, wafer, cell, and module manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh.
