Solarworld Energy Solutions Limited (SOLARWORLD) has secured a letter of award (LoA) for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) package for battery energy storage system (BESS) implementation at Solapur Super Thermal Power Station (Lot-1). The LoA has been secured from NTPC Limited.
Furthermore, the contract is valued at approximately Rs 3.14 billion. The project is scheduled to be completed within 15 months.
Earlier in December 2025, SOLARWORLD received a LoA from NTPC Renewable Energy for the EPC of a 250 MWac grid-connected solar photovoltaic project.
Furthermore, in September 2025, SOLARWORLD launched its initial public offering of equity shares, which comprises equity shares worth up to Rs 4.9 billion.
