Jinko Solar has launched its new dust-resistant modules. The modules leverage the company’s Tiger Neo 3.0 module platform technology and feature a three-dimensional dust-repellent design. They integrate glass and frame elements with the company’s proprietary self-cleaning, anti-static, superhydrophilic nano-anti-soiling coating technology. The photocatalytic smart decomposition of the module solves organic contamination challenges. In addition, their high durability and long lifespan ensure long-term power generation efficiency.
The modules incorporate a specialised frame design, in which the short-side frame remains parallel to the front glass surface, preventing the usual accumulation of falling dust. This design enables dust to slide off more easily during rainfall, thereby reducing its buildup. The product also helps mitigate issues such as reduced light transmittance and hotspot risks caused by dust, while significantly lowering the need and cost of manual and mechanical cleaning. As a result, it minimises power generation losses and operational challenges, achieving a 4-6 per cent increase in power generation compared to conventional modules.
