Flow Power, majority owned by OPTrust, has entered into a foundational offtake agreement with Octopus Australia for the Blind Creek solar farm and battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Australia. The project is located in Bungendore, New South Wales, and comprises 300 MW of solar capacity with a BESS of 243 MW/486 MWh.
The project is being developed in collaboration with local landholders under an agri-solar framework, allowing continued agricultural use such as sheep grazing. Additionally, it is expected to generate up to 300 MW of electricity, sufficient to power over 120,000 households. Moreover, Octopus Australia is working with GRS as the engineering, procurement and construction contractor and Wärtsilä Energy Storage as the battery system supplier for the project.
In March 2026, Flow Power acquired the Dunedoo energy project, a state significant development with an approved development application. The project is situated approximately 2 km north of Dunedoo in the Warrumbungle Shire, New South Wales, and comprises a 55 MW solar farm with a 60 MW BESS. Previously owned by ib vogt GmbH, Flow Power will develop, build, own, and operate the project, with construction scheduled to commence in 2026.
