Xbattery has introduced XB-5K, a 5 kWh scalable energy storage system (ESS) designed for residential and office use. The system is based on the company’s indigenously developed BharatBMS platform. BharatBMS powers the XB-5K with artificial intelligence and machine learning-enabled features such as preemptive outage response, real-time state-of-charge monitoring, adaptive cell balancing and advanced thermal management. These features help extend battery life by up to 15 per cent while reducing costs through indigenous design, manufacturing and servicing.
The product weighs 37 kg and can deliver up to 5 kWh of dependable backup power for household electronics and appliances, including air conditioners, for as long as 24 hours. The plug-and-play system is portable, easy to install, and functions like an advanced home power bank. It uses lithium iron phosphate cells to ensure long operational life and stable performance.
