Vikram Solar inks 2 GW cell procurement agreement with Jupiter International

Vikram Solar Limited has entered into a strategic domestic cell procurement agreement with Jupiter International Limited. Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will procure high-efficiency TopCon and mono passivated emitter and rear cell solar cells. The total procurement will aggregate to 2 GW of the approved list of models and manufacturers compliant crystalline solar cells. Furthermore, the size of the agreement is approximately Rs 20 billion.

Earlier this month, Vikram Solar inked an agreement to renew and enhance its existing working capital facilities. The enhanced facilities, extended by a consortium of lenders, amount to Rs 32 billion.

Furthermore, in November 2025, Vikram Solar commissioned a 5 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Vallam, Tamil Nadu. The facility spans 27,000 square metres and operates as a fully automated manufacturing line.
