Vayona Energy has inked a wind power agreement with Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL). Under the agreement, Vayona Energy will supply 195 of its SG 3.6-145 turbines across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.
The total capacity of turbines under the agreement adds upto around 702 MW. The agreement also increases TPREL’s wind energy portfolio to over 2 GW, including both operational projects and assets under different stages of development.
Earlier in September 2025, TPREL inked an agreement with Suzlon Group to co-develop 838 MW wind projects.
Furthermore, in July 2025, TPREL inked a battery energy storage purchase agreement with NHPC Limited.
