BELECTRIC bags contracts for 210 MWp solar projects in UK

BELECTRIC, a member of Elevion Group, has secured agreements in UK to develop four solar projects for Severn Trent Green Power. BELECTRIC will execute the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of these utility-scale solar farms.  The contracts cover a combined installed capacity of nearly 210 MWp Elevion Group, through BELECTRIC, will act as the delivery partner for the projects.

The solar plants will be developed across Warwickshire, Shropshire, Yorkshire, and North Yorkshire. Construction of the first sites is scheduled to begin in March 2026. All four projects are expected to achieve commercial operations between August 2027 and January 2028. The Warwickshire project will include designated skylark protection areas as part of its site layout. BELECTRIC will tailor the engineering design of each installation to address site-specific conditions.

In August 2025, BELECTRIC commissioned the Herleshof solar farm in Kolitzheim, Germany, with an installed capacity of 96.7 MWp. The project spans three sites and uses over 165,000 modules, generating around 105 GWh of solar power annually. Additionally, a 35 MW/70 MWh battery storage is to be built at the site in the future for grid stabilisation.
