Pace Digitek wins KREDL’s solar plus storage auction

Pace Digitek has secured a win in Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited’s (KREDL) auction to develop a 250 MW solar project coupled with a 250 MW/1,100 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS). The project is worth  Rs 17.75 billion and will be located at Ryapte village in Tumkur district, Karnataka.

According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work covers the installation of the solar and BESS projects. It also encompasses obtaining land for the projects on lease and connecting the solar project to the Karnataka Solar Power Development Corporation Limited’s (KSPDCL) pooling substation 6. Furthermore, the company will also provide the interstate transmission system for the project, and it must obtain connectivity for interconnection with the 220 kV side of the KSPDCL substation. The tender was floated earlier in May 2025.

Earlier in January 2025, Pace Digitek secured an engineering, procurement, and construction contract to carry out balance of system works for Bondada Engineering’s 300 MW solar project.
