ACME Solar Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of ACME Cleantech Solutions Private Limited, has secured a letter of award (LOA) from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) for the development of a 220 MW solar power project integrated with a battery energy storage system (BESS). The solar plus storage facility will be located at Morena solar park in Madhya Pradesh. The project forms part of a 440 MW tender issued by RUMSL under tariff-based competitive bidding guidelines. It was secured at a tariff of Rs 2.764 per unit, with the scheduled commercial operation date set for December 31, 2027.
The project will supply power under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA). Furthermore, the PPA will be inked with Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited and RUMSL. Designed to deliver four hours of peak power, the integration of battery storage will help meet morning and evening demand. Additionally, land and evacuation infrastructure above the 33 kV level will be provided by the solar park developer.
Earlier in December 2025, ACME Solar Holdings bagged a debt tie-up of Rs 47.2 billion from Indian financial institutions.
