Ceigall India Limited has secured a Rs 17 billion contract for the development of a 220 MW solar power project at the Morena Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh. The project will be integrated with a battery energy storage system (BESS). The project was awarded by Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited through a tariff-based competitive bidding process. Ceigall India quoted a tariff of Rs 2.70 per kWh for the project.
Furthermore, the scope of work covers the engineering, procurement, and construction of the solar plus storage facility. The construction timeline of the project is 24 months, followed by an operational period of 25 years.
Earlier in October 2025, Ceigall India secured a letter of award from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for developing a 147 MWac grid-connected solar power project under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 Scheme.
