Oil India issues EoI to empanel EPC vendors for solar projects

Oil India has issued an expression of interest (EoI) to empanel engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) vendors. The empanelment is aimed at developing at least 100 MW of grid-connected solar projects across various states in India.

According to the tender guidelines, the proposed projects may involve ground-mounted solar installations, floating, reservoir, or canal-top systems. They may also include solar projects integrated with battery energy storage systems, in line with the requirements of Oil India or its renewable energy arm, OIL Green Energy.

Furthermore, the scope of work includes design, engineering, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar projects. It also involves providing 25-year operations and maintenance services. Furthermore, the shortlisted bidders need to design, procure, and supply project equipment if mandated by OIL India and OIL Green Energy. The bid submission deadline is February 15, 2026.
