Premier Energies, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Premier Energies Photovoltaic, has commissioned the 400 MW solar photovoltaic cell (Mono PERC) manufacturing facility. The facility is located at the company’s E-City plant in Maheshwaram, Telangana.
Furthermore, after commissioning the new line, Premier Energies’ operational solar cell capacity increased to 3.6 GW. The company also has 6.8 GW of additional solar cell capacity currently under construction. Its solar module manufacturing capacity stands at 5.1 GW, with a further 6 GW module line under development.
Earlier in April 2025, Premier Energies Limited entered into a strategic partnership with Germany-based RENA Technologies GmbH for innovating processes for n-type solar cells and developing wet chemistry techniques for next-generation tandem solar cells.
