Freyr Energy rolls out self-cleaning solar system and upgraded hybrid solar solutions

Freyr Energy has rolled out a self-cleaning solar technology along with an upgraded hybrid solar system. The self-cleaning solution addresses dust accumulation on solar panels and reportedly remains effective even under heavy dust conditions. It uses sensors and automated mechanisms to independently clean dust accumulated on solar panels, thereby eliminating the need for manual intervention. The system washes solar panels automatically on a smart schedule. Furthermore, the technology reduces water consumption by around 90 per cent by relying on smart flow control instead of intensive rinsing.

The newly launched upgraded hybrid solar system addresses fluctuations in electricity supply caused by sudden power outages. These systems integrate solar power with backup sources, ensuring a reliable power supply during periods of low solar generation. It also helps in cutting power costs by reducing reliance on utility companies.
