Shakti Pumps has secured an order from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) for the installation of 16,780 solar photovoltaic water pumping systems. The order has been awarded under Component B of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan.
According to specifications of the order, the scope of work covers the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar water pumping systems. Furthermore, the aggregate order value is approximately Rs 6.54 billion.
Earlier this month, Shakti Pumps received a solar pump order from the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency.
