Shakti Pumps has invested Rs 30 million in its wholly owned subsidiary, Shakti Energy Solutions Limited. The investment will be used for the development of a solar DCR cell and photovoltaic module manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh. Furthermore, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 2.2 GW.
The investment was made through the issuance of equity shares. Additionally, the investment will cover the preliminary expenditure related to the manufacturing facility.
Earlier this month, Shakti Pumps received a solar pump order from the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency.
Furthermore, in July 2025, Shakti Pumps approved an equity investment of Rs 120 million in Shakti Energy Solutions Limited.
