Nordex bags 224 MW wind turbine supply order in Germany

The Nordex Group has received wind turbine supply orders totaling 224.4 MW from UKA (Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen GmbH & Co. KG) for wind projects located in Germany. The orders were placed under an existing framework agreement between Nordex Group and UKA and cover the supply of 33 N175/6.X wind turbines. The contracts also include a premium service arrangement for the maintenance of the turbines for a period of 20 years.

The turbines will be deployed across nine separate wind farm projects. These projects are situated in multiple German regions, including Brandenburg, Thuringia, and North Rhine-Westphalia. Construction and commissioning activities for the wind turbines are scheduled to begin from 2027 onwards, depending on project and site conditions. Each turbine will be installed on a hybrid tower structure with a hub height of 179 metres, in line with the project-specific technical requirements.

In January 2026, the Nordex Group secured repeat orders in Canada for the supply and installation of 73 wind turbines, including the N163 and the N175/6.X turbine models. The combined capacity of these orders stood at 508 MW. The turbines are scheduled to be delivered for the wind projects during 2027 and 2028.
