HPCL issues tender for the EPC of 24.2 MW floating solar projects

HPCL Renewable and Green Energy, a subsidiary of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), has floated a tender for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of 24.2 MW of floating solar projects. These include 9 MW and 14 MW projects in the Nanacha and Pachpadra regions of Rajasthan. It also includes a 1.2 MW project in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work covers the design, EPC, testing, and commissioning of the floating solar projects. It also entails providing 10 year operations and maintenance services for the projects. Furthermore, the bidders must guarantee a minimum level of electricity generation in the first year of operation for each project.

Additionally, the bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 1 million. Furthermore, the selected bidders are required to submit a performance bank guarantee of 2 per cent of the total contract value. The bid submission deadline is January 14, 2026.
