Bondada Engineering Limited has received a letter of award (LoA) worth approximately Rs 6.27 billion from Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited. The LoA is for the development of a 225 MW/450 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS).
According to the specifications of the contract, the scope of work includes the development of the project on a build–own–operate basis. Furthermore, the project is expected to be completed within 18 months from the date of receipt of the LoA.
Earlier in December 2025, Bondada Engineering Limited secured a LoA worth Rs 3.92 billion for a 300 MW solar project from NTPC Green Energy Limited.
Furthermore, in the same month, Bondada Engineering secured a solar balance of system order worth approximately Rs 9.45 billion for 810 MW solar projects in Rajasthan.
