Waaree Energies Limited has secured a 1,500 MW solar module supply order. The order has been secured from a domestic entity working in the business of power generation, transmission, and distribution.
The scope of the order covers the delivery of 1,000 MW of domestic content requirement (DCR) compliant solar modules, along with 500 MW non-DCR compliant solar modules. Furthermore, the order delivery is expected to be completed in the financial year 2026-27.
Earlier in August 2025, Waaree Energies Limited started production at its 1.8 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Chikhli, Gujarat.
Furthermore, in April 2025, Waaree Energies Limited inaugurated a 5.4 GW solar cell manufacturing facility in Chikhli, Gujarat.
