NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has commissioned 243.66 MW of the 1,255 MW Khavda-I solar project in Gujarat. The project is being implemented under Phase II Tranche III of the Central Public Sector Undertaking programme. The newly commissioned capacity has increased NGEL’s total installed capacity to 7,889.33 MW.
Earlier in October 2025, NGEL inked a MoU with Paradip Port Authority to develop and implement green hydrogen-based mobility projects in the Paradip Port area.
Furthermore, in the same month, NGEL commissioned 9.9 MW part capacity of its 92.4 MW wind project located in Bhuj, Gujarat.
