AMPIN bags $50 million investment for renewable energy expansion in India

AMPIN Energy Transition Private Limited (AMPIN) has secured $50 million investment from the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank FMO. The funds will be used to develop new greenfield renewable energy projects in India.

Furthermore, the investment supports FMO’s goal of increasing its climate-focused investments. It will also support AMPIN Energy Transition with the growth of its renewable energy portfolio in the country.

Earlier in September 2025, AMPIN commissioned a 50 MWp solar open access project in Chhattisgarh.

Furthermore, in March 2025, AMPIN secured an equity investment of $50 million from Siemens Financial Services, the financing arm of Siemens AG.
