KPI Green Energy Limited has secured a work order worth approximately Rs 4.89 billion from Gujarat State Electricity Corporation. The contract is for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 142 MWp/110 MWac floating solar photovoltaic project. The project will be developed at the Kadana Dam reservoir in Mahisagar district, Gujarat.
The scope of work consists of the complete design, EPC, and installation of the floating solar project. It also includes providing grid-connection infrastructure, including a 33 kV underground transmission line to the pooling station, and 33/220 kV bays at the Kadana substation. The scope also includes 10 years of operations and maintenance for the project, which is expected to be completed within 18 months.
Earlier in October 2025, KPI Green Energy Limited secured a letter of intent from FVE Lifecare General Trading, which is a part of the F Plus Group, for the development of a 600 MW solar plus storage project in India.
