Envision Energy secures 300 MW wind turbine order from UPC Renewables India

Envision Energy India has secured a 300 MW order from UPC Renewables India. The order is for 60 units of wind turbine generators (WTGs) of EN 182, with a capacity of 5 MW each. The turbines will be deployed for the company’s upcoming wind projects in Karnataka.

UPC Renewables has inked a definitive agreement for the first 20 WTGs with contracted capacity of 100 MW and is scheduled for delivery early in 2026. The initial 100 MW capacity is linked to a power supply agreement with SJVN Limited that is slated to commence in January 2027. Furthermore, upon full installation at the Bijapur site, the 60 turbines are expected to generate approximately 900 million units of electricity annually.

Earlier in October 2025, Envision Energy India secured a 501.6 MW order from Evren to supply around 152 WTGs.

Furthermore, in September 2025, Envision Energy commenced production for its 2 GW/PA blade manufacturing plant at Kalyangadh in Bavla Taluka, Gujarat.
