Adani Energy Solutions (AESL) has secured a letter of intent (LoI) from PFC Consulting for setting up a transmission network. The transmission system is being established to evacuate 2.5 GW of power from a prospective renewable energy area in Khavda, Gujarat, under Phase V (8 GW): Part C.
Furthermore, the project involves setting up a 2,500 MW high-voltage direct current system. The current system will span about 1,200 circuit kilometers between KPS III and South Olpad. This will increase AESL’s total transmission network to 27,905 circuit kilometers and transformation capacity to 97,236 MVA.
Earlier this month, AESL inked an agreement with RSWM for 60 MW of renewable energy supply to RSWM’s various plants.
Furthermore, in January 2025, AESL secured REC Power Development and Consultancy’s Rs 250 billion Bhadla-Fatehpur High Voltage Direct Current transmission project.
