SGEL floats EPC tender for 300 MW solar projects in Punjab

SJVN Green Energy (SGEL) has invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of 300 MW solar projects. The total capacity of projects has been split into two segments, with 200 MW to be developed under the PSPCL ET-4 scheme and the remaining 100 MW under the PSPCL ET-2 scheme. The projects will be implemented across multiple locations in Punjab.

According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work consists of managing the entire lifecycle of the solar projects. This includes land arrangements and executing all EPC activities. The scope also covers the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar photovoltaic plants. After commissioning, the winning bidder must handle complete operation and maintenance services for three years. The bidders are required to submit an earnest money deposit ranging from Rs 56.7 million to Rs 206.7 million based on the project combination. Furthermore, the bid submission deadline is December 16, 2025

Earlier in September 2025, SGEL floated an EPC tender for setting up a 733 MWac capacity consisting of 61 solar power systems in Maharashtra.
