Inox Wind Limited has inked a MoU with KP Energy Limited for the co-development of wind and wind-solar hybrid projects in India. According to the MoU, the scope of work for Inox Wind, along with its subsidiaries, includes the supply of wind turbine generators and associated equipment. It also includes providing engineering support, including USS design, transformer specifications, and foundation design. Furthermore, it will execute pre-commissioning, commissioning, and operations and maintenance of wind turbine generators.
Moreover, KP Energy will be responsible for securing connectivity, land, and right-of-way. It will also secure statutory approvals and execute the balance of plant (BoP). Furthermore, it will undertake the engineering, procurement, and construction work of the projects, along with managing the operation and maintenance of the BoP of the project.
Earlier in October 2025, Inox Wind Limited announced plans to invest Rs 4 billion to establish a wind turbine blade manufacturing unit in Karnataka.
Furthermore, in July 2025, Inox Wind Limited announced the approval of its Rs 12.49 billion rights issue.
