Hero Future Energies (HFE) inks Rs 300 billion MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government for the development of 4 GW of renewable energy generation projects. The projects will be developed across the districts of Ananthapuramu, Kurnool, and Kadapa. Under the MoU, HFE will utilise its expertise in renewable energy technology, design, and implementation to establish renewable energy projects in two phases. Furthermore, these projects will generate a total of over 15,000 direct and indirect jobs.
Earlier in October 2025, HFE, through its special purpose vehicle (SPV) Clean Renewable Energy Hybrid Three Private Limited, raised Rs 19.08 billion in funding from the State Bank of India (SBI) (lead) and Canara Bank for the development and construction of HFE’s 120 MW hybrid renewable energy project in Andhra Pradesh.
Furthermore, in September 2025, HFE, through another SPV, Clean Solar Power Barmer Private Limited, secured Rs 10.24 billion in funding from the SBI for the company’s 60 MW hybrid peak power project being developed in Andhra Pradesh.
