Polycab India strengthens its commitment to renewable energy with the launch of Solar Kits at REI Expo 2025

New Delhi, November 10, 2025: Polycab India Limited, one of the country’s leading electrical and fast-moving electrical goods (FMEG) companies, has announced the launch of its new Polycab Solar Kits at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025 in Greater Noida.

Over the past few years, Polycab has significantly deepened its presence in India’s solar and renewable energy space. In  FY 2024–25, the company has developed a combined renewable energy capacity of 32.755 MW, spanning wind and solar power assets. Notably, 17 per cent of Polycab’s total electricity consumption now comes from renewable sources, helping the company avoid over 31,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions in the last financial year, which is a clear reflection of its alignment with India’s clean energy vision.

The newly launched Polycab Solar Kits offer a one-stop solar power solution tailored for residential, commercial, and rural applications. Each kit integrates high-efficiency grid-tie inverters, solar cables, AC/DC distribution boxes, and accessories like earthing kits, connectors, and lugs, delivering a reliable and easy-to-install solution designed to make solar energy more accessible. This launch builds upon Polycab’s existing solar portfolio, which includes string inverters, solar cables, and other energy-efficient components.

Mr. Anurag Agarwal, CEO – Global Exports & New Businesses, Polycab India, said: “Today marks a significant milestone in Polycab’s clean-energy journey. With our new Solar Kit launch at REI Expo 2025, our offering bridges the gap between capability and accessibility — enabling homeowners, enterprises, and communities to adopt solar power easily and reliably. With our strong manufacturing and product-stack foundation, we are confident of making solar the next growth engine for Polycab.

As part of its REI Expo engagement, Polycab has also introduced a Tree Plantation Zone in partnership with Grow-Trees Organisation under the initiative “Trees for Villagers” in Fatehabad, Haryana. Visitors can digitally plant a tree, receive an e-tree certificate, and track its growth throughout its lifetime. Each plantation is enabled by Polycab on behalf of the visitor, fostering collective participation in environmental conservation. The experience is complemented by a photo zone, encouraging visitors to capture and share their contribution to inspire others.
