JSW Energy commissions 85 MW renewable capacity

JSW Energy has commissioned 85 MW of renewable energy capacity. The newly commissioned capacity comprises 74 MW of solar capacity (part of the NHPC hybrid project) and 11 MW of wind capacity. Furthermore, this has increased JSW Energy’s total installed capacity to  13,295 MW.

Earlier in July 2025, JSW Energy, through its subsidiary JSW Neo Energy, signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India for the supply of 230 MW of firm and dispatchable renewable energy from interstate transmission system-connected projects across India.

Furthermore, in the same month, JSW Energy, through its step-down subsidiary JSW Renew Energy Forty Five, signed a 25-year PPA with Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited for a grid-connected 100 MW solar project integrated with a 100 MWh battery energy storage system in Karnataka’s Kalaburagi district.
