SJVN announces results of its 6 GWh peak renewable power auction

SJVN has announced winners for its 1,500 MW/6,000 MWh assured peak power from interstate transmission system-connected (ISTS) renewable energy projects with energy storage system auction. Reliance NU Energies and Sembcorp Green Infra emerged among the winners, securing capacities of 750 MW/3,000 MWh and 150 MW/600 MWh, respectively. Both companies secured capacities at a tariff of Rs 6.74 per kWh each.

Furthermore, ACME Solar Holdings and  BluPine Energy’s special purpose vehicle, Solarcraft Power India 16 Private Limited, have secured capacities of 450 MW/1,800 MWh and 150 MW/600 MWh, respectively. The companies quoted a tariff of Rs  6.75 per kWh each. The tender was floated in December 2024.

Earlier in September 2025, SJVN Limited issued a tender to procure power from 600 MW ISTS-connected wind projects. 

Furthermore, in August 2025, SJVN Green Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN, issued an engineering procurement and construction tender for 500 MW solar projects
