Juniper Green and Tata Power ink PPA for 70 MW FDRE project

Juniper Green Energy Limited has inked a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Tata Power for a 70 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) project. Juniper Green has inked this PPA through its subsidiary, Juniper Green Sigma Eight, for a period of 25 years. The project will be located in Maharashtra and will comprise solar, wind, and battery energy storage system. Furthermore, the project will have a renewable energy capacity of around 180 MWp and an energy storage capacity of around 280 MWh. Power supply from the project is scheduled to begin on September 22, 2027.

Earlier in August 2025, Juniper Green Energy, through its subsidiary Juniper Green Beam Private Limited, commissioned 25 MW of wind power capacity out of its 50 MW wind power project.

Furthermore, in the same month, Juniper Green Bess Two, a subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy, inked a 100 MW wind power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam.
