Ceigall India secures LoA for 147 MWac solar power project

Ceigall India has received a letter of award (LoA) from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). The LoA is for developing a 147 MWac grid-connected solar power project under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 Scheme.

Ceigall India will develop the project across two districts. Furthermore, the company will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project. It will also oversee power supply to MSEDCL under a 25-year power purchase agreement. Additionally, the project has an engineering, procurement, and construction cost of around Rs 5.97 billion and a completion timeline of 18 months.

Earlier in September 2025, Ceigall India, along with ACME Solar Holdings, emerged as the winners of Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited’s auction to develop a 600 MW grid-connected, ground-mounted solar project with a battery energy storage system.

Furthermore, in the same month, Ceigall India Limited has secured two letters of intent from MSEDCL for the procurement of power from 337 MW of solar projects.
