Honeywell has launched Honeywell Ionic™, a modular all-in-one battery energy storage system (BESS). The system integrates flexible battery storage with Honeywell’s advanced control system to lower energy costs, manage demand fluctuations and deliver backup power when required. It is tailored for use by commercial and industrial users.
Furthermore, Honeywell’s Ionic™ Control and Energy Management system is fully integrated into this BESS. It features industry-standard ISA Secure 2 cybersecurity, offering enhanced user protection and reducing risks from potential cyber threats. It also offers advanced analytic tools to provide advanced control and customisation on site. The system comes with a self-contained Li-ion battery enclosure and has a flexible modular design. The enclosure is small and can cater to a diverse range of power storage options from 250 kWh to 5 MWh.
