Deendayal Port Authority invites bids for 1,000 MWp solar PV project

The Deendayal Port Authority has floated a tender to set up a 1,000 MWp ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) project. The project will be located on DPA’s coastal land between Chirai and Jangi in the state of Gujarat. 

According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work consists of the design, engineering, construction, testing, and commissioning of the solar project. The scope also involves providing operation and maintenance services for 25 years. 

The bidders are required to submit earnest money deposits of Rs 500 million. The selected bidders are required to secure the necessary clearances, consents, permits, and insurance for the project. They are also required to submit a monthly progress report on the project’s commissioning. The project is required to be completed within 10 months of power purchase agreement signing date. Furthermore, the last date for bid submission is October 17, 2025.
