GPS Renewables and its subsidiary Proweps have joined forces with Biogastechnik Süd GmbH (BGTS) to bring advanced paddle agitators (mixers) under their brand Varibull to the Indian market. This collaboration seeks to enhance the operational efficiency of biogas plants and lower costs for Indian compressed biogas (CBG) developers.
Furthermore, through this partnership, GPS Renewables will incorporate BGTS’s paddle agitator technology into its turnkey plant solutions and OptiMaxx equipment portfolio. The agitator will be developed at the Bengaluru facility of GPS Renewables. Additionally, the company intends to explore export opportunities from India to other markets.
Earlier in April 2025, GPS Renewables entered into a joint venture agreement with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited to develop CBG plants across India.
