Ingeteam supplies inverters for 640 MWdc solar project in Texas

Ingeteam has provided photovoltaic (PV) inverters for the Parliament Solar project located in Waller County, near Houston, Texas. The project has a capacity of 640 MWdc, and is expected to generate nearly 1,100 GWh of electricity annually. Ingeteam also executed the commissioning work for the project, through its production centre in Milwaukee.

The company’s scope of delivery for the project included 149 units of its 149 INGECON® SUN 3Power Series C liquid-cooled central photovoltaic inverters, integrated into 80 UL-certified transformer stations. These were supplied as turnkey units, prepared for direct installation at the site. Commissioning of the project ahead of its schedule was attributed to the use of grid-forming technique.

In June 2025, Ingeteam secured an agreement to supply around 1 GW of inverters, comprising 298 inverter units, for the phases 4 and 6 of Grenergy’s Oasis de Atacama project. This order brings Ingeteam’s total supply for the Oasis de Atacama project to 2 GW, with a total of 610 inverters supplied.
