AMPIN commissions open access solar project in Chhattisgarh

AMPIN Energy Transition (AMPIN) has commissioned a 50 MWp solar open access project. The project is situated in the village Gatapar,  Bemetara district, Chhattisgarh. It has been commissioned for the eastern region of the state and will deliver clean energy to TexmacoRail & Engineering Limited.

Furthermore, the project is anticipated to produce approximately 78.21 MU of green energy per annum and will offset 64,132 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. Moreover, the project was completed in a period of nine months.

Earlier in March, AMPIN secured an equity investment of $50 million from Siemens Financial Services, the financing arm of Siemens AG.
