NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has commissioned two renewable energy projects in Gujarat. One is a 212.5 MW solar project, which is the fourth phase of the Khavda-I Solar PV Project that has a total capacity of 1,255 MW. It has been commissioned by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NGEL.
Furthermore, Ayana Renewable Power, through its subsidiary Ayana Renewable Power Four, has commissioned 52.8 MW wind capacity of a 129.9 MW wind-solar hybrid project in Gujarat. Ayana Renewable Power Four was acquired by ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, a joint venture between NGEL and ONGC Green Limited.
Earlier in July 2025, NTPC REL signed a MoU with the Goa Energy Development Agency for the development of renewable energy projects in Goa.
