Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has been declared as the lowest bidder for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 245 MW AC grid-connected solar photovoltaic PV project in the state of Gujarat. NTPC Renewable Energy issued the tender.
Earlier in April 2025, SWREL secured multiple domestic projects, including a 127 MW AC hybrid wind-solar project and a separate solar project in Rajasthan.
Furthermore, in December 2024, SWERL secured a Rs 12 billion solar EPC project in Gujarat.
